NATO launches ‘Eastern Sentry’ defence mission after Russian drone incursion in Poland

NATO launched a new defense mission on Friday to reinforce Europe’s eastern flank, following Russian drone incursions into Polish airspace earlier this week. Secretary-General Mark Rutte said the new mission was a response to the “reckless and unacceptable” breach of allied territory.
