LCD Soundsystem announce 2025 NYC residency

It’s almost that time of year again, and LCD Soundsystem have announced their fifth annual NYC residency. For 2025, they’ll do 12 shows over 3 long weekends at Queens’ Knockdown Center, happening Thursday-Sunday on November 20, 21, 22 and 23; December 4, 5, 6, and 7; and December 10, 11, 12, and 13. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 19 at 10 AM ET, and you can register for a fan presale that starts Wednesday, September 17 at 10 AM ET.

This will be the second year in a row LCD hold their residency entirely at Knockdown Center; last year, James Murphy said the ability to take over the entire venue and have openers, pop-ups, and more extras made the shows feel “pretty magical,” calling the crowds “the most responsive we’d had on the run,” and adding, “It felt like the New York I moved into in the late ’80s. For this year, they’re also promising live openers, nightly afterparties featuring DJ sets from special guests, a DFA Records swap meet, and a Four Horsemen wine bar pop-up. Stay tuned for more details.
