Mobb Deep share first song since Prodigy’s death, from new album ‘Infinite’

Earlier this year, Mass Appeal said they’d release seven new albums from seven different hip hop icons for their Legend Has It… series, and now Mobb Deep‘s has been announced. Infinite is due out on October 10 via Mass Appeal Records. It’ll be Mobb Deep’s first release since the death of Prodigy in 2017, and it uses his previously unreleased vocals. Havoc produced it with The Alchemist, and you can hear the first single, “Against The World,” below.

The sound that shaped who we are but also speaks to where hip-hop is right now.” He adds, “with Infinite, fans can expect nothing less than the essence of Mobb Deep—the gritty New York sound they know and love, unapologetically true to what we have always delivered, even in a constantly shifting musical landscape.”
