Gruff Rhys announces North American tour dates, shares “Taro #1 + #2” video from new album

Gruff Rhys‘ new album Dim Probs is out this Friday and he’s just announced he’ll be crossing the pond in November to play a few North American shows.

There’s just three: Los Angeles on November 17 at Brain Dead Studios, Brooklyn on November 19 at Littlefield, and Montreal on November 22 at Casa Del Popolo.

Meanwhile, Gruff has shared a new single from Dim Probs, “Taro #1 & #2,” which is both the poppiest song and the darkest lyrically on the album. Gruff says it’s about, “The circle of life – accepting death as the end of the turn. Almost no light in this track. Apart from Kliph Scurlock’s incredible groove & Gavin Fitzjohn’s phased horns.” Watch the video for that below.
