Armand Hammer & The Alchemist announce new collaborative album, ‘Mercy’

Armand Hammer (aka billy woods and ELUCID) have announced their second album with producer The Alchemist, following 2021’s excellent Haram. Titled Mercy, it comes out November 7 via woods’ own Backwoodz label (with global physical distribution by Rhymesayers), and it features appearances by Earl Sweatshirt, Quelle Chris, Pink Siifu, Cleo Reed, Kapwani, and Silka. Pre-save here. No songs from the album are out yet but stay tuned.

Armand Hammer and The Alchemist also announced one show together happening at LA’s Lodge Room on October 23. That comes in the middle of billy woods’ own run of tour dates, including a hometown NYC show on September 25 at Knockdown Center with Bruiser Wolf, ELUCID, Gabe ‘Nandez & Preservation, DJ Haram, Cleo Reed, and special guests. All dates are listed below.

woods also released his own great album this year, Golliwog. The Alchemist, meanwhile, is always busy with something. He recently released a collab album with Freddie Gibbs and they’re about to begin a tour together. He’s also got his highly anticipated collab album with Erykah Badu on the way–the release date was pushed back and a new date is TBA.
