WJSN member Dayoung has released her solo debut single album, ‘Gonna Love Me, Right?’ – check it out below.

The three-single collection arrived yesterday (September 9) via Starship Entertainment, and consists of the tracks ‘Body’, ‘Number One Rockstar’ and ‘Marry Me’.

“I’m so excited,” she told Forbes. “I’ve been preparing this album for over a year. The album is my baby, so I hope every fan and people will like my baby.” The single album is described as a “bold, confident and raw” exploration of her “real self”.

Additionally, the K-pop musician has also released a vibrant music video for lead single ‘Body’. The clip sees her hit up a house party, dancing her way through a massive mansion.

The video is made up of several one-take clips stitched together that showcase her choreography across various settings and outfit changes in the mansion.

As for WJSN, the group have not released any material since the July 2022 single album ‘Sequence’. Following the release of that project, the group’s three Chinese members – Chengxiao, Meiqi and Xuanyi – left the group in early 2023. Luda and Dawon also parted ways with Starship Entertainment but are still part of WJSN.

In October last year, member Yeonjung confirmed that there are no plans for new music from WJSN. “There aren’t any concrete plans for WJSN activities, but there are so many good songs, even just from side tracks.”
