Bottom line

Redeeming just 38,000 Capital One miles for a lie-flat business-class seat to Europe is an excellent deal, especially when cash fares run into the thousands of dollars.

Both Air France and KLM operate solid lie-flat business-class products from numerous U.S. airports to their hubs in Paris and Amsterdam, respectively. Here at TPG, we’re fans of Air France’s refurbished product, especially if you can secure one of the bulkhead seats with fantastic additional personal space.
