Big Ears 2026 lineup: David Byrne, Robert Plant, MJ Lenderman, Flying Lotus, Dirty Three, more

Knoxville’s Big Ears Festival happens March 26-29 in downtown Knoxville, TN. They’ve just announce the line-up, which will be headlined by David Byrne, Robert Plant’s Saving Grace, Pat Metheny, Flying Lotus, Laurie Anderson and John Zorn (who’s doing 12 performances in two days).

The rest of the lineup includes Dirty Three, MJ Lenderman, Perfume Genius, Tunde Adebimpe (TV on the Radio), Model/Actriz, Patrick Watson, Alan Sparhawk & Trampled by Turtles, Perfume Genius, Reggie Watts, Tom Skinner (The Smile), Cymande, SHABAKA, Pino Palladino & Blake Mills, Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band, S.G. Goodman, Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble, John Scofield Trio, Richard Thompson, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Mei Semones, Ghost Train Orchestra plays Moondog, Adrian Sherwood, His Name is Alive, Deerhoof, Marc Ribot, Florist, Hand Habits, Hannah Cohen, Madison Cunningham, Julianna Barwick, Kishi Bashi, Maria Somerville, Richard Dawson, Terry Allen, Tim Heidecker & the Very Good Band with Neil Hamburger, YHWH Nailgun, and much more, with artists still to be added.

Passes for Big Ears 2026 go on sale Thursday, September 11, at 9 AM ET, with early access for previous festival attendees beginning Wednesday, September 10, at 9 AM ET.
