Why France’s ‘Block everything’ protesters are calling for credit card boycott
On top of to France’s political crisis, Wednesday’s “Block everything” protests threaten to shut down the country. Preparations for the shutdown are in full swing, with operations planned to block roads but also a call to boycott credit cards and many restaurant and small business owners have joined the movement.
