Australia’s triple ‘mushroom murderer’ jailed for life with 33 years non-parole

An Australian judge on Monday sentenced Erin Patterson, 50, to life in prison with parole after 33 years for murdering three people with toxic mushrooms, ending a trial that drew global attention. She was convicted in July of serving the lethal meal at a 2023 family lunch.
