Video: Raul Jimenez replicates Diogo Jota’s celebration in tribute after equalizer vs. USMNT in Gold Cup final

After scoring the equalizer against the USMNT, Mexico striker emulated Diogo Jota’s celebration.

Trailing since the 4th minute, Mexico sought an equalizer against the USMNT in the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup final. Star striker Raul Jimenez delivered, leveling the score and paying tribute to Diogo Jota.

Receiving a precise through ball from Marcel Ruiz, set up by Jesus Gallardo’s pass from the left flank, the Fulham striker unleashed a stunning left-footed strike. Despite a deflection by Tim Ream, the ball found the net in the 27th minute.
