Algeria upholds five-year jail sentence for writer Boualem Sansal

An Algerian court on Tuesday upheld a five-year jail sentence for French-Algerian writer Boualem Sansal who was arrested in November for saying in an interview that France had unfairly ceded Moroccan territory to Algeria during the colonial era.
