The 2025 NYC Drag March in (NSFW) pics
It’s the final weekend of Pride Month in NYC, and kicking off the festivities as usual on Friday evening (6/27) was the annual Drag March. Hundreds gathered at Tompkins Square Park to strut their stuff and walk west, often in stilettos, to Stonewall Inn, where there was a group singalong of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
People dress to impress at the Drag March every year and 2025 was no exception, with a plethora of elaborate costumes, makeup, and fabulous shoes on display. Also as usual was the political focus of the affair, with many chanting and holding signs in support of Palestine and against Donald Trump and ICE. Also coming up this weekend are the Dyke March on Saturday, and Heritage of Pride’s Pride March and Reclaim Pride’s non-corporate Queer Liberation March, both on Sunday.
