Uncertainty lingers over effectiveness of US strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites

As the dust settles over the twelve-day Israel-Iran war via a fragile ceasefire, countries and independent agencies rush to reach their own conclusions on the fallout of the conflict. US President Donald Trump asserted at a NATO summit on Wednesday that American strikes on Iranian facilities had ended the war, but Israel, Iran, and independent agencies such as the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency hinted that it might be too early for a comprehensive assessment.
