BLACKPINK will reportedly debut a new song during their tour kickoff in South Korea next week – find out more below.
Earlier this month (June 9), the group’s label YG Entertainment announced that they were filming for a new music video, suggesting the K-pop group have new material on the way. Information of their upcoming releases have been scarce since, until now.
According to reports from Naver and Korea Times, YG Entertainment has shared an update on when fans can expect to hear new music from Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo – and they won’t have to wait long.
Per the reports, YG Entertainment has confirmed that BLACKPINK are due to debut a new song at their upcoming ‘DEADLINE’ tour kickoff at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea next weekend (July 5). The song’s official release date and its accompanying music video have yet to receive release dates.

Per Naver, a YG Entertainment representative’s statement reads: “There were many discussions about how to announce the new song, and we decided to premiere it at the Goyang concert, which marks the starting point of the ‘DEADLINE’ world tour and a moment to reunite with our fans. We will officially share more details about the song release date soon.”
The ‘DEADLINE’ tour will kick off with two shows at the Goyang Stadium on July 5 and 6, followed by a string of North American dates throughout the rest of the month. August will see BLACKPINK tour Europe and the UK, including two shows at the Wembley Stadium.
The tour will resume in Asia throughout October and December, including stops in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines and Hong Kong.

Since BLACKPINK’s last album – 2022’s ‘Born Pink’ – all four members have explored solo careers, including albums by Jennie, Rosé, Lisa and Jisoo. Additionally, Lisa made her acting debut in HBO’s The White Lotus season three.
