AC/DC announce Australian tour with Amyl & the Sniffers

Australian legends AC/DC have announced their first tour of their home country in a decade, and making the trek even cooler, support at these massive stadium shows will come from a great, much newer Australian rock band: Amyl and the Sniffers. The brief run includes shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane, and tickets go on sale Thursday (6/26). All dates are listed below.

Earlier this year, AC/DC did their first North American tour in nine years. It was also their first tour since the release of their 2020 album Power Up, and first with vocalist Brian Johnson back in the band since Axl Rose filled in for him in 2016. In addition to Brian, AC/DC’s current lineup includes founding lead guitarist Angus Young, newer rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, and live members Matt Laug (drums) and Chris Chaney (bass).

Amyl and the Sniffers also recently announced that they’ll be opening the second leg of Turnstile‘s upcoming North American tour. For more, read our 2024 cover story on the band.
