Blur documentary ‘To the End’ now streaming, ‘Live at Wembley’ concert film coming soon

Britpop is back, with Pulp and Oasis back in action, and Blur were actually ahead of the curve, releasing the wonderful The Ballad of Darren back in 2023. The band documented both the making of the album and the huge shows they did at Wembley Stadium that same year for the 2024 documentary Blur: To the End. That has now hit streaming and you can rent it via VEEPS now. You can can also watch it as part of a VEEPS All-Access subscription.

The Live at Wembley Stadium concert film is also coming to streaming on July 4. You can preorder your ticket for that now on VEEPS, and you can also bundle it with To the End as well as the vinyl Live at Wembley Stadium album or the 10th anniversary edition of Blur’s 2015 album, The Magic Whip.

Here’s the official synopsis for the documentary: “blur: To The End follows the unique relationship of four friends – and bandmates of three decades – Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree as they came together in early 2023 to record new songs ahead of their sold-out, first ever shows at London’s Wembley Stadium in July last summer. Featuring performances of their most iconic, much-loved songs, footage of the band in the studio and life on the road, blur: To The End is an intimate moment in time with this most enduring of English bands, who have been at the heart of British cultural life and influence for over three decades.”
