90 Day Fiance: Gino Palazzolo Gambles on Love in Las Vegas – Happily Ever After Recap [S09E01]

90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After returns for a new season and Gino Palazzolo rolls the dice with a new lady after kicking Jasmine Pineda out of his house. Another 90 Day Fiance fossil Darcey Silva returns to the show with her husband Georgi Rusev. And Andrei Castravet plays the villain to perfection at a barbecue with some other past cast. Let’s catch up with this recap of Season 09, Episode 01 Welcome To The Party, Pal.

90 Day Fiance: Gino Palazzolo’s Gamble Pays Off

In the latest messy turn of events for 90 Day Fiance staple Gino Palazzolo, he’s taking advantage of his open marriage with a fling in Las Vegas with a new lady. It seems after agreeing to the open marriage after a stint on The Last Resort, Jasmine Pineda broke the rules when it came to her approved twice-weekly romps with her gym buddy Matt Branis. Gino Palazzolo kicked her out and she and her little dog Coco sought refuge at Matt’s house.

Gino Palazzolo figured it was time for him to take advantage of his hall pass on 90 Day Fiance. So, he met a woman online named Natalie, and after several flirty texts they arranged to meet in person. Natalie shares some physical characteristics with Jasmine. But she lacks the crazy eyes and tendency to lose her mind over a refusal to peel a potato without the proper equipment. Gino Palazzolo is giddy with enthusiasm over how “normal” Natalie seems.

Back in Michigan, Matt returns from a trip to his tiny house riddled with Jasmine’s clothes and shoes and the thermostat set to 86 degrees on Happily Ever After. Jasmine sobs about still being in love with Gino while Matt appears bored and in over his head. Back in Vegas Gino Palazzolo and Natalie hit up an ice bar and do shots out of frozen boobs. Gino goes in for a kiss and she is into it. She admits she was attracted to his nerdy ways after two divorces and a string of toxic flings. So far it’s Gino Palazzolo that’s winning this gamble.

90 Day Fiance: Darcey’s Back and the Cringe Is Real

A scene of an artsy haunted house plays out on 90 Day Fiance. It’s not the neon painted clowns that are scary. But rather a screaming Darcey Silva bouncing off the walls like a pinball. The first lady of TLC is on the eve of turning 50. And still swimming upstream against aging gracefully. She’s starting to look like a caricature with an over abundance of filler, Botox and whatever else is going on. And it’s a lot.

Husband Georgie Rusev sets up a romantic dinner in a Miami park. And says happy birthday but tiptoes around saying her age on 90 Day Fiance. But he’s concerned about taking her to Bulgaria to meet his family. He casually mentions she might need to cover up a little. Since her girls are amply displayed in a see-through studded top. Darcey takes offense defending her “style and flair” and that it cost a lot of money to look like her and she won’t be toning it down for anybody.

Happily Ever After: Andrei Castravet Issues an Ultimatum

Suddenly it seems everyone is moving to Miami on 90 Day Fiance. Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya have relocated there and enjoy a beach day with daughter Mylah. Yara complains about Jovi’s extensive work travel. And wants to try her hand at a luxury brand for dogs in spite of not even owning one. Jovi just shrugs off her complaints and suggests they may be expanding their family. Yara is on board so she won’t have to play Barbies anymore with her daughter.

Andrei Castravet and Elizabeth (Libby) Castravet frolic with their kids on a pirate ship excursion. But behind the friendly banter lurks more family drama. They are estranged from all of her family except dad Chuck Potthast. And mulling a move to Moldova. Libby is willing but understandably concerned. The couple are headed to a housewarming party at the new home of Happily Ever After staples Loren and Alexei Brovarnik.

Everybody is cordial at first. But when Andrei tells the guys he will issue an ultimatum to Libby about moving, they spill the beans over steaks and drinks. Loren Brovarnik gets on a high horse citing her friendship with Libby. She brings up how Libby and the kids will fare in Moldova. To which Andrei replies not to bring up “mama bear” stuff. Then he goes off on Loren’s friend causing her to storm out. So this season’s 90 Day Fiance villain is cast and Andrei fits the role like a glove.

TLC Couple Kara and Guillermo Sleep in Separate Beds

The grass isn’t greener for Happily Ever After couple Kara Bass And Guillermo Rojer. We catch up with them living a nice life in Virginia. But there are cracks in the foundation. Guillermo recently quit his job that provided benefits. And is working at a restaurant. He is taking flying lessons. But Kara bursts his bubble by suggesting while those kind of endeavors are fun, they are expensive and time-consuming.

She’s tired of carrying the financial load. Although they put up a peaceful front for their young son. But once he’s down for the night the pair retire to separate bedrooms. Kara Bass weeps over the state of her marriage. And Guillermo Rojer wishes he could be in bed with his wife instead of a guest bedroom. So, like everyone else their drama will have to play out this season. Till next time!
